Our Story
Opening Doors for New Mexico Filmmakers
Films Front Door is a first of its kind resource built specifically for the New Mexico film community. We exist to connect above and below the line professionals, students, and freelancers with the tools, training, and opportunities they need to thrive in one of the fastest-growing film markets in the country.
Community
New Mexicans First in Line
Film and Media is a collaborative industry. It is about finding the expertise and the resources that exist within the community already and really tapping into them — bringing them into one place. Our mission is to make sure New Mexicans are first in line for new opportunities in the industry.

Our Mission
Rooted in the Community
Greater Communities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit started in 2010 to use media as a platform for community revitalization and empowerment. Our programs focus on three pillars:
- 1
Our goal is to expand individuals' access to participation in media-based employment and volunteerism. We do this through various programs that include both apprenticeships and training programs.
- 2
We supply resources needed in the media space… this includes studio space, equipment, and creative support (props, wardrobe, sets, etc)
- 3
We create opportunities to invest in community development through the implementation of informative/artistic/professional media.
